What documents do I need to rent a car?
To rent a vehicle from Payless Executive Services, you'll need:
A valid Nigerian driver's license (or international driving permit for foreign nationals)
A valid form of identification (National ID, International Passport, or Voter's Card)
Proof of address (utility bill, bank statement, or employment letter not older than 3 months)
Credit card or debit card for security deposit
For corporate rentals: Company letterhead authorization and CAC certificate

What is the minimum age to rent a car?
The minimum age to rent a car is 25 years for our luxury vehicles (Land Cruiser, Lexus, Mercedes-Benz, BMW). For standard vehicles, the minimum age is 23 years. Drivers between 23-24 years may be subject to a young driver surcharge. All drivers must have held their license for at least 2 years with a clean driving record. Always check the specific policy before booking your vehicle.
Do I need a credit card to rent a car?
A valid credit card is typically needed to secure your rental and cover any potential charges. Some companies may accept debit cards, but additional identification or proof of return travel may be required. Be sure to review the payment terms in advance.
Do I need a credit card to rent a car?
While we prefer credit cards for security deposits, we also accept debit cards from major Nigerian banks. A security deposit ranging from ₦100,000 to ₦500,000 (depending on the vehicle category) will be placed on hold during the rental period. The deposit is fully refunded within 24-48 hours after the vehicle is returned in good condition.
Can I change or cancel my reservation?
Most car rental companies allow you to change or cancel your reservation, though policies vary. Changes may be subject to availability, and cancellations could incur fees depending on how close to the pick-up date you make the request.

Fuel is not included in the base rental price. Vehicles are provided with a full tank and must be returned with a full tank. Alternatively, you can opt for our fuel service where we handle refueling at competitive rates. For airport transfers and chauffeur services, fuel is typically included in the quoted price.

How early should I book airport transfers?
For guaranteed availability, book airport transfers at least 6 hours before departure. We monitor flight schedules and adjust pickup times automatically for delays. For early morning flights (before 6 AM) or late-night arrivals, we recommend booking 12-24 hours in advance.
What if my flight is delayed or cancelled?
Our flight monitoring system automatically tracks your flight status and adjusts pickup times accordingly. There's no additional charge for delays up to 2 hours. For cancellations, we follow our standard cancellation policy. Our 24/7 support team will coordinate alternative arrangements as needed.
